In October, I filed four articles, writing about 3,100 words. Of the articles I wrote this month, all were commissioned (editors bought the article ideas I sent them). I sent 57 pitches this month—one was commissioned, three are being considered, 14 were rejected, and 39 are pending a response.

I spent my solar return on October 7th at Petra in Jordan on my first Intrepid Travel trip and had a wonderful time exploring the Middle Eastern country. I’m now in Uruguay for the foreseeable future due to a family emergency. Please refrain from sending PR pitches at this time. I don’t have the capacity to consider them and will be deleting unsolicited pitches to try to keep my inbox manageable.
